Jazztronic duo FILTER KINGZ release indy CD inspired by the #Occupy Wall Street movement

After nearly a decade, the jazz-electronic duo FILTER KINGZ return to procuce an EP called "Songs Of Change", a  musical montage inspired by the Occupy Wall Street Movement in New York's Zuccotti Park.

Filter Kingz  are NOLA singer/songwriter JAMES AVATAR and Australian pianist/Hiphop producer PHILIP GELBACH. The two climbed the europop charts in the mid-90's with "Se Acabo", thier triphop homage to 50's Latina singer LA LUPE`.

"Songs Of Change" will be a collective of conscious soul music celebrating the spirit of public unrest.  The  duo recently performed the album's debut song "No Shame" at the "99% ART EXHIBITION" held at the Chelsea Museum of Art on  October 16th, 2011. "No Shame" is now available on iTunes.
 Co produced by Astraea Records head Todd Carter, this will be FILTER KINGZ's first independent effort after parting ways with former record company ODESSA MAMA ENTERTAINMENT.  "Songs Of Change" will be the fledgling project of their new production company ONE EVOLUTION MEDIA.
